An Enviromux server room monitoring system is a compact and feature-rich device with an ideal server room temperature and humidity monitor with a web interface and multiple notification options. Along with the climate conditions, this system can monitor water leaks, airflow, motion, vibration, & smoke.
The UPS of these server room monitoring equipment is that it can cascade up to 5 units through the ethernet in master and slave configuration (1 master and 4 slave) to increase the number of sensors to monitor many racks. It is available with the option of 24VDC and 48 VDC or optional built-in Power over Ethernet (POE). If required, the user can choose a unit with battery power backup and alerts for power outages and power resumes.
This server room temperature monitor is provided with two external configurable sensors, and five digital inputs to connect with sensors like water leak detection, vibration, door, access control, etc. It provided one output relay to trigger the device in case of an alert. It generally is used to connect the Automatic Voice Call Dialer system to make calls to preset numbers in the event of an alarm.
Sensors connected to the system are hot-swappable and connected to the console via RJ45 ports. This server room monitoring system to Ethernet via RJ45 to remote management and web interface. A “USB Console” for limited system control by connecting it to a computer via USB. In addition to this, two UPB ports provide a flash drive to download log data or 3G USB mode to configure SMS notifications.
Enviromux server room humidity monitoring system offers user options for various types of alerts including voice, webpage, Email, SMS, Voice Call, or LED indication. This system can be installed with flexible Zero-RU mounting or an optional DIN or 1RU rack mounting kit.
It is a powerful server room environmental monitoring system with the help of which it can check important climate factors to make sure that the products are safe from possible damage. When the EMS finds the levels outside the set limits, it sends an alarm with different options. Notifications are sent via email, SNMP traps, and cautions, providing immediate updates on the environmental status.
Let’s discuss some of the unique selling points of server room monitoring system that makes it a useful device. This system not only monitors climate factors, but can take the status of other power, cooler, and security devices installed inside the data center.

Discover the pinnacle of environmental monitoring with the Enviromux unit which can easily meet the highest standards. Here are its 10 key properties that protect your facility with top-quality performance.
Sensor Connectivity
An ideal server room monitoring equipment should be ready to connect as much as detector possible to monitor large data centers.
Remote Access and Control
The ability to access and control the system remotely, ensuring flexibility and convenience. Hence, it should have an ethernet port with a web interface.
Alerts and Notifications
A comprehensive alert system that can notify users of any anomalies or critical conditions via different channels such as audio, SMS, email, or web page.
Expandable
Considering future expansion, server room environmental monitory systems should have features to connect in series to increase the number of sensors.
Maximum Uptime
Units should have a facility of battery backup or dual power source input to ensure it works during facility power failure to alert users about alarms.
Digital inputs
Units should have the option of digital input to monitor external devices' power, cooling, and security devices installed in the server rooms.
Design and Mounting
Ideally, a temperature sensor alarm for the server room should be compact and able to be installed in the server rack with a mounting kit occupying not more than 2U space.
Data Logging and Storage
The system should be able to store logs for historical event data. Users should be able to download this data through a flash drive or via a web interface.
Integration with Other Systems
It should seamlessly integrate with external devices and systems through the relay, RJ45 and it should support major protocols.
Operating Conditions
The system should be capable of operating over a wide range of temperatures and temperatures to ensure versatility in different environments.
There are several benefits of using an efficient environment monitoring system for server rooms. Datacenters are the backbone of a business. A slight downtime of networking servers can cause heavy losses to the business. A server room monitoring system avoids the failure of IT devices due to high heat or moisture. It also updates users on the status of devices like UPSs, CCU, fire alarms, door contact, etc., to keep your facility safe and working.
Increases Uptime
A server room temperature and humidity monitor ensure high uptime of your data center and hence your business.
Reduce Losses
Revenue and manpower loss of business are directly proportionate to the uptime of the data center. EMS reduces downtime and hence losses.
