A separate 4-pin terminal block connector is provided at the back side of the unit to connect the water leak sensor cable via a 4-core leader cable. This data center monitoring solution can support up to 61 meters of water-sensing cable which is enough for small-sized server rooms or telecom shelters. It can offer water leak detection over a single zone only.
This data center infrastructure monitoring unit is provided with eight numbers and two wired digital inputs to receive signals from various monitoring devices. With the help of these inputs, you can monitor the opening and closing of doors, gas detectors, fire alarms, and airflow of the CRAC units. Also, you can get status signals from critical equipment such as UPSs and Generators. It also has a form C relay output to control external devices in the event of an alarm condition.
With the help of an RJ45 ethernet socket, it can be connected to your network and web interface. The unit is provided with audio and visual LED indications. Different blinking patterns of LED can inform users about alarms of leaks, cable breaks, humidity, temperature, or alarms from digital input devices. Alarm notification also can be provided to the user through an integrated web interface, email, SNMP trap, and relays.
This data center monitoring device can store logs of the last 50 events with the date and time of each event. It uses an inbuilt and configurable real-time clock (RTC) or network time protocol (NTP) to keep time on the system. Using different protocols, this equipment can be easily integrated with the BMS.
