Introducing the 10K, a smart water leakage detector device that can quickly pinpoint leaks within a 1-meter accuracy range along a stretch of sensor cable spanning up to 2500 meters.
Designed for ease of use, the 10K operates as a single-zone system, requiring minimal human involvement for continuous monitoring.
It acts as a proactive safeguard against potential water damage by triggering audible and visual alarms upon leak detection.
Moreover, it seamlessly integrates with Building Management Systems (BMS) or other monitoring setups to promptly alert stakeholders.
This leak detection system is provided with EIA-485 and a relay port for easy connectivity.
Each 10K system consists of the main 10K unit and one or more sensors, offering flexible installation. It can function independently or be linked with an LD5200 Master Panel for expanded monitoring capabilities.
Being a distance-read water leak detection, it is typically paired with water-sensing cables. However, 10K also supports probes and pad detectors if needed. These accessories, including sensors, SMS modules, and tags, are available separately to tailor the system to specific requirements.
Due to fast leak detection speed, 10K can detect & identify types of leakages and raise alerts swiftly. It can notify users through audio, visual, Email, and SMS. Hence, it enables the maintenance team to act fast to reduce potential damages. 10K leak alert system consists of a separate Power Supply Unit (PSU) and Controller. PSU and controller are housed inside the IEC 60529 rated box on the DIN rail.
This water leak detection solution is completely user-friendly. It can be easily integrated with existing BMS or monitoring systems.
Explore the key functionalities of the 10K water leak detector solution for a comprehensive understanding of its performance and capabilities in diverse scenarios.
Distance Read Leak Detection
10K is a single-zone water leakage alarm system that can notify the exact leak location distance along the water leak sensor cable. It helps maintenance staff to rectify faults quickly.
Modbus Enabled
Allows seamless communication with other devices and BMS for enhanced interoperability with the help of Modbus equipped system via its EIA-485 port and relays.
Compact Design
The space-saving design ensures easy installation and integration into various environments. This feature-rich water alarm is packed in only a 180 x 180 x 98 mm casing box.
LED Display
This water alarm system is fitted with a 4-character LED display that shows numerical distance whenever a leak, fault, or contamination is detected, indicating the exact leak point.
EIA-485 Comms Port
This leak detection system is provided with two EIA-485 communication ports, which enable users to connect the device with an external Modbus-enabled controller.
Parameter Configuration
The 10K panel is provided with an SW1 DIP switch to configure parameters such as leak and contamination thresholds, latching alarms, and re-alarm time intervals as per the site requirement.
Easy Modbus Addressing
Users can easily set addresses between 1 and 254 for Modbus devices using the SW2 DIP switch. Adjust the individual switches until their sum equals the Modbus address.
LED Indication
Provides clear visual indication of alarm status for leak, cable fault or contamination, power status, and cable measurement unit (ft or meter) to identify issues quickly.
Precise Leak Location
This distance read or locating panel can notify Pinpoint water leak location with accuracy to within 1 meter, facilitating prompt intervention.
Ingress Protection
According to IEC 60529, it meets ingress protection standards to safeguard against dust and water ingress. This makes it suitable for use in ongoing sites or pump rooms.
Detection Capabilities
In addition to notifying water leaks with a pinpoint location, this water leak detector can detect water-sensing cabler breaks or contamination and internal system faults.
Operating Parameters
It operates reliably in temperatures ranging from 0 to +50 degrees Celsius and humidity of 10 to 95% RH, and it is housed in an IP55-rated casing.
Assess how our lives were affected before using the 10K water leakage detector system to find water leaks easily in no time.
